Who is Mountain Canvas?
Mountain Canvas is a small company based out of Whistler, BC. We are enthusiasts of the mountains and generative art. We are snowboarders, skiers and mountain bikers. We love creating beautiful artwork and providing unique canvas prints at affordable prices.
Is Mountain Canvas a Canadian company?
Yes, we are based out of Whistler, BC.
Where does Mountain Canvas ship from?
We are a Canadian based company, along with our production and shipping partner, but their printing house is based in India, where the product will ship from.
Does Mountain Canvas have good reviews?

Is Mountain Canvas a reliable and trustworthy website?

Can I cancel or modify my order after it has been placed?
If you have changed your mind or want to make any changes to your order, please get in touch within 12 hours from making your order. If your order has not been sent for production, we can update and make changes as necessary, but we cannot guarantee this will be possible.

What is the canvas material made of?
Our canvas prints are created using a specially designed high-quality polyester fabric that is perfect for HP latex printing. To ensure durability and longevity, we use premium pine wood for the frames.
What type of ink do you use for printing?
Our canvases are printing with insolvable, certified, approved and eco-friendly inks.
What is the printing technology you use?
All of our artwork is printed using large printing machines with eco-solvent and latex printing.
How good is the print quality of your canvas prints?
Our artwork is printed on a high-quality canvas using special HP latex inks that are UV resistant and designed to stay vibrant and fade resistant for 75 years. These inks enhance colours and capture fine details, ensuring a long-lasting and vibrant print.
How is the canvas fixed to the frame?
The canvas is printed at a large enough size allowing it to be wrapped around the sides of the stretcher frame. It is securely fastened to the rear side using staples, ensuring a neat and professional finish. The image is mirrored around the edges.
Is your artwork generated with Artificial Intelligence?
Yes, our artwork is generated with the assistance of AI generative art tools. Before production, each design goes through a manual process to remove or rework any artifacts and is scaled up to the required quality for flawless printing on the canvas material.
Can I request a specific artwork or theme?
Yes! If you have something specific in mind we would love to help create a custom piece for you. Let us know all the details on our Custom Canvas Artwork form.
Do you offer framing options?
At this time we do not offer any framing options, but the service is available with our printing partners, so get in touch if you have a specific requirement.
Do you offer gift wrapping services?
Unfortunately we do not offer any gift wrapping of our canvas prints.
Can I customize the size of the canvas?
To keep the order process simple, we offer our canvases in nine sizes:
- 16x16in
- 24x24in
- 30x30in
- 20x30in
- 30x20in
- 24x36in
- 36x24in
- 36x48in
- 48x36in
Our production partner can print any size up to 54x54in, so if you have a custom size in mind, let us know and we can work with you on a custom piece.
How do I hang my canvas print?
Your canvas is shipped with pre-installed sawtooth hangers, making it easy to hang on your wall.
To mount it securely, you can use nails, screws, or any suitable hardware for your wall. Take measurements to mark the perfect spot and insert your chosen hardware. Align the sawtooth hangers with the hardware and gently rest your canvas onto the fixed support.
Production and Shipping
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping on all of our orders is free, always!
What shipping providers do you use?
All of our orders will be shipping using UPS or FedEx services.
How long does it take to receive my order?
Production of your order will be complete within 2-3 business days. Delivery is usually made within 6-8 business days, for a total time of 8-11 business days. Read more about our production and shipping policy.
Do you ship internationally?
Unfortunately we only offer shipping to Canada and USA, we do not have any international shipping services available.
What should I do if my order has not arrived within the estimated delivery time?
During busy times, especially around Christmas, we can experience delays to our normal processing times. Additionally any extra delays caused by shipping companies is unfortunately out of our control. You can keep up to date with your order status through the link provided in your confirmation email. Please get in touch with your order number and the email address associated with the order and we can help provide you with further information.
Can I track the status of my shipment?
Once you order has been shipped, we will notify you by email and include a tracking link for you to keep up to date on your delivery status.

What happens if my canvas arrives damaged or defected?

What should I do if I have not received an order confirmation email?
After successfully placing your order, you will receive a confirmation email at the email address you provided during checkout. If you don't see the email in your inbox, we recommend checking your spam folder. In the event that you still can't locate the confirmation email, please reach out and let us know your order number.
What should I do if I have not received a receipt for my order?
Once you have made payment through the Stripe payment gateway, you will be sent a receipt for your order to the email address provided at checkout. If you don't see the email in your inbox, we recommend checking your spam folder. You can also always access the receipt from the link provided in your confirmation email to check your order details. In the event that you cannot locate your receipt, please reach out and let us know your order number.
